Smoking

NO SMOKING in or around the cabin please. If you smoke by the firepit, please pick up your cigarette butts and dispose of them in the trash before you leave.

NO VAPING inside the cabin.

Pets

NO PETS. We apologize, but due to allergies this cannot be allowed. We will assess an additional fee, out of your security deposit, if evidence of pet(s) are found upon cleaning.

Trash

There are 6 large trash containers on the property

Trash is picked up once a week. (Current pick-up day is Wednesday, but subject to change)

ALL trash MUST be in large trash bags (NO grocery or small store bags allowed). NO loose trash allowed in the trash cans. We have a small local company that picks up the trash by hand and they cannot take anything that isn't properly bagged. Loose or improperly bagged trash will result in an additional $50 fee.

Noise

Please respect our neighbors who live around the cabin.

Turn off ALL outside lights and keep noise to a minimum after 10PM

Plumbing

Only flush toilet paper in the toilet.

NO Tampons, Pads, or Paper Towels!

The mountain septic system cannot handle these types of products.

Wildlife

Deer, raccoon, opossum, squirrel, bear, turkey, snakes, spiders, scorpions, ladybugs, carpenter bees, chiggers, wasps, mosquitos, ticks and many more live in the North Georgia Mountains.

We (and I’m sure you) want to keep all these critters on the OUTSIDE of the cabin !!!

To prevent snakes and other wildlife (squirrels, bees, etc) from entering the cabin -

WE URGE YOU TO KEEP ALL DOORS CLOSED AT ALL TIMES

...unless you are entering or exiting the cabin. This is true of all doors whether sitting on the upstairs deck from the bedroom or going down to the fire pit from the game room door.

We are certainly not trying to create fear as we respect and love all creatures – however we want to love and respect them in their own environment - outside

We have regular pest control that treats the property and house. No matter how many treatments and how tight the house is closed up – there may be critters that will find their way inside. Specifically, spiders, ants, and smaller insects may make it inside.

There is a can of bug spray in the kitchen in the event you need it.
